Book Week Parade

Everyone went to a lot of effort with their costumes this year. We had a lot of star war characters, characters from The Faraway Tree, Fairy tale and even a few Zac Powers. Well done eveyone. 

A Busy Time

There has been a lot happening in our classrooms this week. We loved walking down to St Leonards Square to find some leaves to make our writing more interesting. The massage circle was a lot of fun and Ava did a   job reading the book for us at the same time.

Wheel Day for Discovery

Everyone enjoyed whizzing around the school on Friday on their scooters,  rollerblades, skateboards and bikes. It is often that you get to zoom around the school field on your bike. 

Fun learning about measurement

Thanks Keri for helping us use the metre rulers to measure how tall we are. We also did activities with handspan rulers, covering books with different sized squares and ordering objects depending on how heavy they were.

Buddy Class

We managed to get together with our buddies yesterday to have a lesson on using a keyboard. The buddies introduced us to a typing programme that will teach us how to type quicklly.

Science Alive Lesson

Everyone was busy doing activities that involved pulleys,incllined planes, levers, screws, gears and wheels. Thanks Kelsey for the great lessons.

Last day of term

We were very lucky to get such a stunning day for the last day of term 1. Even better we had parents to help pump up the new balls for us. Some children chose to play on the courts and others enjoyed the activities inside the classrooms. Happy holidays everyone.
